Author: hardboiled Original Message Posted: Apr 25 2010 4:05PM

We are thrilled to announce our second annual tournament at the completely renovated Juliet's Castle on June 18 through the 20th.

We'll have rookie, semi, and open categories - among other surprises over the weekend.

Mark your calendars - it's going to be fun.

We'll be in touch over the next few weeks with details about the event.

See you there!

Sweet! Can't wait for this tournament! I'm sure you can count on a lot of support from the Edmonton players coming down. Do you know if you will be running it on netfoos? I wouldn't mind adding it to our point system which is yet to be released.

Well, I need to know where it's going to be the tournament ,and some hotels close from there, because I'm planing to go there ,but I have no idea how to get in the tournament .

The poster will be out next week according to Brian. It usually has all the information you will need.

The address of the event is at 440 16 Avenue NE. The closest hotel is the Ambassador Motor Inn but it is not the best hotel. Others areas for hotels are downtown and Motel Village ( 16 th AV and Banff trail NW) as well as a few hotels around 19 st and 16th av NE. http://www.maps.worldweb.com/CalgaryMap.html

If someone pays my air fare, entry fees and hotel accommodations, I'll hold the goalie rods for them in doubles. If they pay for my meals, I might even move those rods in defense.

Sounds like a hell of a deal. What does it cost for you to play forward?

Author: Aged Whine & Cheese Reply #15 Posted: May 10 2010 4:57AM

The cost for me to play forward? All the pride I have left, any lingering element of respect my peers might foolishly still hold for me and a rapid defeat.

Author: BriL Reply #17 Posted: May 12 2010 10:40PM

Awesome format and good event times!

Should have players around watching for the open finals which is nice.

Let's get a good crew from Edmonton down there!
