I anticipate many humorous responses but what I would really like to see are responses that would suggest thoughtful consideration.Truly, think about what it is about this game that first draws us(like moths to a flame),then decides to never let us go.
For me the reasons are myriad,but if I had to choose one thing,the answer would have to be the following:competition.To play against another skilled opponent,to expend every ounce of energy,to utilize every defensive and offensive technique,to balance the pressures of the match while still never losing sight of my objective,which is to overcome my opponent.The battle,the chaos,the sometimes hostile atmosphere.These are some of the intangibles,in general,that keep me FOOSIN'.
