Simon appears to be in the hunt!!!He presently is playing,I believe, for 4th or better in goalie wars!
Remember Simon, it's not how you play the game but whether you win or lose.

I can see it now:Edmonton's first ticker tape parade, then the key to the city,an appearance
on Letterman, compromising photos leaked to the
press,the benefits are myriad!!

I'll think perennial unterhund's prediction is accurate, except for the ticker tape parade, key to the city, and the appearance on Letterman.

I recall Simon telling people not to play in that event? and to relax during that time, then he goes and wins it!

Simon you played great the entire week and your two bar was on fire! I still can't believe how lucky you got to win goalie wars!!

4-4 in the 3rd game in the final, and the other guy scores a nice slider pull to the near side, but spins the rod. The guy screamed, or shreaked, or something, it was pretty funny. He sort of started to celebrate but realized it was no goal half way through his cheer. I felt sort of bad for him to be honest. Anyway Simon wouldn't let an opportunity like that slip, and he put it away.

I figured he must have won by luck...
