Topic: EDM Fireball - Add events?

Author: Will Original Message Posted: Apr 4 2011 2:54PM

We have received at least 10-15 entries from out of town players that plan on attending the Thursday night DYP! I would guess that for this DYP we will have 30-40 teams, so that will make for an awesome event!

That said, we will have a lot of players in from out of town on Friday - I am considering adding some more events. Let me know if you would want to play, whether you are a beginner or a pro master, local or traveling from texas, just let me know what you think!

Forward Shootout - 1:00 Friday
Goalie Wars - 3:00 Friday
1 Ball Tournament - 6:00 Friday

Forward Shootout - the players take turns shooting from the 3 bar. After you shoot you play goal against the other players shot, then you shoot again. First one to 5 wins the game, matches are 2/3

Goalie Wars - play a match, but no one can use the 5 bar or 3 bar. It is different from Forward Shootout in that if you shoot and the ball bounces back to you the play continues. If the ball leaves your zone the other player gets the ball.

One Ball - Lower ranked player gets the serve, whoever scores moves on. Single elimination, winner take all!

Would definitely be interested in FSO and 1-ball.

How bout a 2 ball rollerball event (dyp or byp)? Considering tables are on free play, this would be a good chance to do that. Maybe Friday afternoon?

Darn Will,
Your constant promotion is making me think I should attend. I suspect I will still be too curmudgeonly to bother but, nevertheless, you are annoyingly nibbling away at my resolve. Good promoting!
