Topic: Tuesday Night Results and Points Update

This Tuesday we had a ProAm DYP at Time Out, and had a really nice turnout. We had 7 teams, and again a lot of incredible matches.

I drew Paul, and we won, Paul played great. I would say a lot more about how good Paul played, but it was a little unfair having Paul as a goalie in a ProAm I think, he barely got scored on, he won games from his 2 bar, and he kept all the slop out. We didn't lose a game on the way to winning, although we did have a few close calls (including being down 4-1 in our first game of the night to Roger and Chad).

There were some really great matches, including Carey and Scott against Ben and Steve that went to 4-4 in the third before Ben put it away. Scott blocked really well and Carey's long was looking just incredible throughout the night.

1st Paul and Will
2nd Ben and Steve
3rd Carey and Scott

Also: We did an 8 person Singles tournament that I didn't put into that first post, although the points are inclusive of both events:

It was single elimination, one loss and you are out! The first 4 teams eliminated from the Pro/Am played in the singles event, Partner VS Partner for the first round game!

Conrad beat Ritchie in a thriller that Ritchie came back from 4-1 down in game 2, but Conrad put it away!

Taras beat Ray, then exemplified just how good his Singles game really is by knocking off #1 seed Roger! Conrad beat Chris in his second match and then in the final kept the run going by beating Taras and taking down the title.

Great playing Conrad!

I need a 3rd place game to be played for this one so I can finish the Chart! Its Chris VS Roger.

1st Conrad
2nd Taras
3rd TBD!

That Top 10 is sure in striking distance! Chris dropped from the top 10 this week and is probably just itching to get back up there. Chris has been a regular for being able to make it into the top 10, and Conrad, Jamie, and Des I believe have all made it into that top 10 at some point... Who is next!?

Kwan, Conrad Current: 986 Highest: 1016

Simeon, Jamie Current: 979 Highest: 1059

Tse, Desmond Current: 976 Highest: 1006

Kerr, Chris Current: 964 Highest: 1078
