This should be interesting especially for the Masters.

will be interesting to see what happens to the first time Ryan has to forfeit a final or semi

He was forfeited at the last HOF. It wasn't that interesting.

Sure he was forfeit, but it took half an hour to do it...

Author: Darcy Reply #5 Posted: Jan 31 2012 10:57PM

and it wasn't a final

Honestly as a spectator I wouldn't want an open event semifinal or a final to be forfeit. Every effort should be made at that point to get the person to the table.

In the round of 16 or earlier, or in a less important event I'd forfeit anyone without question though. Good on Mary for making a stand.

I imagine it will take a certain amount of self policing of one team on another to get it done though. Hopefully the foos community has the collective will to hold those that don't comply accountable.

Yeah, kinda wish they would implement the same thing that istf is doing. Texting players when their matches start... that way it's really their own fault if they're not there.

I suspect that, like the old recall rules, there will be two different standards. One for the popular Pro-Masters and one for every one else. This has always been the case at foolsball - I doubt it will change.
