Well this week was following the St. Louis Nationals, so a few regulars were not able to attend because of that (myself included) but we still had a decent tournament with 14 players.

Paul Humperstone and Mike "Hammertime" Johnston were paired up via the draw, and they worked some magic together by playing the whole thing ROTO. It's tough to win the "A" side of a chart under any circumstances, nevermind without switching to match other teams or anything like that. Anyway, Pizz was dropping bombs from his 2 row all day, and Hammertime was blocking like a rock when he was back, both guys had 3 rows on fire and everything was working out well.

Chris and Maria made there way through the other side of the chart, but lost to Humper and Hammer for kingseat... They managed to knock Conrad and Candace to the other side though. If you are going to be playing against Conrad, you want Maria as your goalie - so Chris was lucky in that aspect. Maria was the only person to beat Conrad actually on the night, with Chris as her forward.

In the final, it seemed Paul and Mike had it locked up, they won the first game, then got up 4-3... but Chris and Maria fought back and won, then in the second set the same thing happened. Humpertime and Hammerstone couldn't quite close it out but again had shots to win. Chris and Maria fought back and won the tournament in one of the hardest fought finals for a long time!

Good foosin everyone!
