Wow! Cool thread on the US board...check out the Vancouver content at the ’92 worlds. (I thought old-timers from the other cities might enjoy seeing this too)

There were more of us there than I remember. Not many high results, but I can find eight Vancouverites on that list:

Gerry, Tim, Moya, Ken W, Peter V, Peter K, Paul P, and me.

Fun memories! Earl

You forgot Harvey, I guess it was too scary to remember his driving :)

I sorta thought that was the year Harvey attended, but I couldn't find him on the results list to confirm it.

Same thing for you, Peter. Were you there that year or not?

No, Pete wasn't there, but he was kicking himself the whole time. He just started at Molson's and couldn't take the time off.

Wasn't that the year Paul P. lost his airline ticket and he saw Katie Seagal, only to not believe him, so I went to verify and low and behold it was in fact her? She said she noticed our group and thought we were a rock band. Was Tim's handsome looks I'd imagine. What a "motley crue" we must have looked. LMFAO!!! Memories indeed.

She was checking out my ass. The only reason she would have thought were were a rock band would have been my hair therefore she was fixated on me. I was hot back then. Now, not so much.

Well Paul lost his ticket in Dallas in 92. Pete V used my airline ticket and DL to get down there. There was a two for one deal that year, airfare was $200 and so many jumped on it.

The Katie Segal meeting was in San Fran at another tournament, maybe the Hall of Fame or tour kick off tournament. I think that was in 93/94

I think the Katey Sagal thing was the same year - we were stuck in San Fran for a few hours and there were a lot of us. Not sure when we would have had that many people going down otherwise.

It wasn't the same year though because I was there when we saw Katey Segal. Just a lot of the same people :)

The funny thing here, Brundlefly, is that I couldn't remember things when I was a young fart either.
