Gateway is in some trouble with Revenue Canada and the health inspection guys too it seems. I'm not sure if the kitchen will be opened again, but our time at Gateway might be done to be honest.

Considering the staff issues and the other complaints people usually have about Gateway, it is maybe not the end of the world if something can't be worked out.

Working on some alternative solutions for now, but we are not playing at Gateway this week anyway.

Ray I think inviting the entire league to your house is awesome, but I think keeping it at an establishment for now would be best. If you want to have people over that would be great, but I'll probably head to Time Out.

We won't be doing a tournament, just pick up games.

Thats pretty crazy. Well if you are looking for a new venue that would hold the # of tables you have I was thinking perhaps the Highrun Club on 50th street, or the sportsman lounge also on 50th street. Sportsman would have room if they moved 1 of the pool tables and the Highrun club is a big venue where im sure they could make room. Just thinking out loud here. lol.

Chris,

Thanks for the ideas. We have had discussions with High Run before but might try to contact them again. 50 st Sportsmans wouldn't be bad either.

Anyone else with ideas let us know what you are thinking too.
