Last night we did singles at Dukes, which is a bit of a rough format for two tables, but we managed to get it done. There was a couple of upsets and a really good final in both tiers with Dan and Garret fighting for tier 2 dominance and Christian coming back from the B side to double dip Tom in the final in a really close second match.

Dan also played in tier 1 and scored a couple of big upsets over Garry and Ben before he ran into Christian in the B side. Chad was playing well too; taking me to a third game and really shooting well from the two bar.

Speaking of two bars: In our first match to start the night Tom scored 7 goals from the back on me in two games. More than enough to take the win in a tight match, but he definitely showed up to win last night, even knocking Christian to the B side in his second match. Glad to see Tom coming out more often.

There will be a few of us leaving for Texas next Friday (the 26th) to play in the runaway bay and Worlds tournaments so I may not be at Dukes on the 26th but Chad will be there to run the tournament and he'll be running a Pro/am DYP.

Singles Tier 1
1. Christian
2. Tom
3. Roger

Tier 2
1. Dan
2. Garret
3. Scott

Good job guys!

111 points gained in a single night of foosball... must be the new record in Edmonton.

~Will starts trying to lose points to drop to 800, only to try to win 112 or more points in a night~
