TKO is in Atlanta over January 25-27 in 2013. 20K in prizes. Anyone thinking about going to this one?

I got a free package, but, I don't think I'm gonna hit it up. Flights seem pretty decent though.

Author: Darcy Reply #2 Posted: Nov 20 2012 3:40PM

Author: Sniff Reply #3 Posted: Nov 20 2012 4:10PM

really really funny.

Author: Darcy Reply #4 Posted: Nov 20 2012 4:21PM

haha, yeah you're right. I've seen your two bar.

Author: Sniff Reply #5 Posted: Nov 20 2012 4:49PM

Yea, it's horrible. It's why I generally play forward.

Author: Darcy Reply #6 Posted: Nov 20 2012 5:21PM

forwards get all the chicks anyway.

Author: Sniff Reply #7 Posted: Nov 20 2012 5:48PM

Exceptions to the rule: Dana Marr, Rob Atha. I'm sure there's more.

I don't think it matter for foos. Most girls on tour barely play and are there just for the party.

what about that little asian girl that plays in vegas? haha

Author: Sniff Reply #9 Posted: Nov 21 2012 1:29PM

Sabrina? She's a porn star you know. We also party with her, cool girl, but, she doesn't play any events. Just hangs out.

Author: Darcy Reply #10 Posted: Nov 21 2012 1:50PM

that chick is nuckin futs man.

She'd close the tournament room down playing pick up games and then she'd be there before anyone else playing pick up games... i don't know how her back doesn't give out being on her feet all day supporting all that weight.

Author: S. Edwards Reply #11 Posted: Nov 21 2012 2:13PM

and being on her knees all night

Author: melanoir Reply #12 Posted: Nov 21 2012 4:14PM

damn i wish i could find the pick of her playing darcy with crazy nips ..it was cold in that vegas room

Author: Superfly Reply #13 Posted: Nov 21 2012 4:52PM

How did I miss all this ... Maybe this March ...

Author: Darcy Reply #14 Posted: Nov 27 2012 12:21PM

So it looks like players from Alberta/BC get to play "Free" with registration and dues ($70 from what I can tell) although I still need to clarify with Mary what that really means and how many events "Free" covers. Flights from Edmonton are about 260 each way before tax and it's only 3 days over a weekend so really 2 days off work if you want to play every event.

Anyone wana go down and win Rookie with me?

Author: Sniff Reply #15 Posted: Nov 27 2012 12:51PM

Looks like it's up to 4 Star Events for free. Star Events are the standard events, Am, Ex, Pro, Elite, Open. Singles or Doubles.

So for eg. You could pick am singles, am doubles, open doubles, open singles for free. Anything on top of that, you would have to pay the per entry free. Amateur it looks like 30 bucks a pop.

Makes sense.

Sure you don't want to go Jeff?

Author: S. Edwards Reply #17 Posted: Nov 27 2012 2:58PM

Jeff isn't a Rookie

Author: Darcy Reply #18 Posted: Nov 27 2012 3:05PM

I don't see where anyone called him a rookie.

As of January 1st, 2013 ... I will officially be a rookie .

Rookie entry fees for regular events ... $10 .

And a happy birthday to me lol ...

Author: Sniff Reply #20 Posted: Nov 27 2012 3:51PM

hahaha. yea, I'm saving myself for vegas. I got some time off over xmas, and it's hard to justify another foos trip/waste of a grand, between then and now.

You can always ask on the foosboard, or try and pick up a random at the tournament, I used to do that back in the day.
